Working Equitation Quinte is a community of riders from every level, breed, and riding tradition promoting the sport of Working Equitation across the Bay of Quinte region: Prince Edward County, Quinte West, Belleville, and Hastings County.
Open to everyone.
- Every level — from "never tried it" to seasoned competitor.
- Every breed — Iberian, stock, warmblood, pony, mixed.

The discipline
Four trials, one partnership
Working equitation grew from the working horsemanship traditions of the Iberian peninsula. This unique discipline is judged across three to four distinct trials that test trust, training, and partnership.

Ease of Handling
A choreographed obstacle course, judged on accuracy and harmony.
Trial 03
Speed
The same type of obstacles, against the clock — quick thinking and a willing horse matter.
Trial 04
Cattle
Teams separate a designated cow from the herd — rarely part of competitions in Canada.
