Working Equitation Quinte is a community of riders from every level, breed, and riding tradition promoting the sport of Working Equitation across the Bay of Quinte region: Prince Edward County, Quinte West, Belleville, and Hastings County.

Open to everyone.

  • Every level — from "never tried it" to seasoned competitor.
  • Every breed — Iberian, stock, warmblood, pony, mixed.
  • Every tradition — English, Western, traditional, and others.

The discipline

Four trials, one partnership

Working equitation grew from the working horsemanship traditions of the Iberian peninsula. This unique discipline is judged across three to four distinct trials that test trust, training, and partnership.

Dressage

Classical workmanship and connection — the foundation of everything else.
